If you have seen my blog post from earlier in the week then you will know I went a little bit spend-happy on Lush's Christmas collection, so to try and justify the excessive amount I have brought I have decided to share with you the all of the lovely things that I have picked up! I showed all of the Bubble Bars in my post earlier in the week, so if you missed it you can check it out here, but today I am going to showing everything else I picked up, and there's quite a bit!

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar - £2.95

Candy Mountain is a Lush Christmas classic which I had to pick up as I have lusted after it year after year. It has the cult favourite Snow Fairy Scent, which to me smells like a mixture between Bubblegum fizzy bottle and Love Heart sweets, so in other words, like pure sugar - which I love! The idea with the Bubble Bars is that you crumble some (or the whole thing) under water ad it creates beautiful fragrant bubbles in your bath, I mean, who wouldn't love that!

Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar - £5.95

The Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar is basically the same product as the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar in that they have the same scent and both produce bubbles in the bath with he only difference is that with the Magic Wand is that you get a lot more product and it comes on a stick so you can swish it in your bath, so you can get a ton of uses out of one wand. Magic Wand bubble bar also has a stronger fragrance in comparison to Candy Mountain, which I'm pleased about as hopefully the scent won't disappear as you use it. I also love the concept and design as they are covered in glitter and is like a little fairy wand, I like that Lush have added the little-added touch of the silver ribbon and bell, so it would make a lovey gift for someone.

The Magic of Christmas Reusable Bubble Bar - £5.95

This is probably my favourie product out of their entire Christmas range as it is definitely the most festive out of them all! It is fragranced with Almond, Sweet Orange oil, and Cinnamon and decorated with Star Anise in the center with cloves around the outside and covered in a ton of gold glitter! I also love that it is on a cinnamon stick instead of the usual plain lolly-like stick as it just makes it all the more festive, not even mentioning the red ribbon and little bell. If this doesn't scream Christmas, I don't know what does!

Snow Angel Bath Melt - £4.25

This one is something different to all the other items I have picked up or even tried before as it is one of their bath melts. The idea with the Bath Melts is that you pop them into the bath and they melt into the water, so they leave your skin soft and moisturised as they are made with ingredients that are nourishing for the skin. Snow Angel is made with Fairtrade Cocoa Butter and has a gorgeous Marzipan scent which I am a big fan of as I love marzipan. Overall it just has a lovely creamy, sweet scent that will be perfect for a relaxing bath. I also think it will look very pretty when it dissolves in the water as the back of then melt is covered in gold glitter, which I can imagine will look beautiful swirling in the water - although I not sure what my bath will look like after I've used it, but it will be worth it.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel (250g) - £7.95

No Lush haul would be complete without the obligatory bottle of Snow Fairy shower gel, so naturally, I had to pick one up. It has the same super sweet fragrance as all the other products in the Snow Fairy range except it has been intensified x100, so when smelling out of the bottle it's pretty pungent, but when you use it in the shower the intensity dulls down quite a bit, so don't let the first sniff put you off! It is quite pricey for a shower gel at £7.95 for your average size bottle, however, a little goes a very long way as only the small amount produces a lot of lather! I will definitely be picking this up again next year when it undoubtedly returns for the festive season as it is simply amazing - it has blue iridescent shimmer in it!

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner (225g) - £13.95

This product is genius! The concept of this product is that it is a body moisturiser that you use I while you're still in the shower. You basically just wash yourself like normal using a shower gel (The Snow Fairy shower gel is a pretty good shout) and rinse, then take a dollop of the body conditioner, rub it all over your body and then rinse it off. Like the shower gel, I used this product for the first tie yesterday and it is amazing; it left my skin feeling super soft and hydrated yet not greasy. I also love that I don't have to wait for it to dry before getting dressed which is something you have to do with a normal moisturiser, so it's perfect if your in a ruch and a little short on time. The only thing I dislike about this product is that it is limited edtion, so I'm definately going to have to see if they do any all year body conditioners as amazing as this one!

Yog Log Roulade (100g) - £5.95

I was really disappointed when I discovered that Yog Nog Bath Bomb wasn't making a return this year as I went in store last year and smelt it, and absolutely loved it! but didn't pick one up, so I was really looking forward to trying out this year but unfortunately the bath bomb didn't make a return, however, the scent has in the form of a Roulade Shower smoothie, Yog Log. The Roulade shower smoothies, from what I understand are a hybrid product combing a body wash and there shower body conditioner - you basically just tear a piece off and wash with it. It is made with Cocos Butter so I have a feeling it will be amazingly nourishing for the skin. It also has the same gorgeous caramel scent that Yog Nog had so you can still get your caramel-scented fix!

Lush have actually removed all the Christmas products off of their website, however, they are still available in store and will be popping back up online for their boxing day sale so I would recommend checking the website or social media regularly because things sell out pretty quickly as the deals they offer are amazing! I'd suggest you snap some (or all!) of there Christmas range up before it is gone for another year as it is brilliant!

Are there any products that you want to pick up from Lush's Christmas collection still? or hoping to nab in the boxing day sale?

Although I love burning candles all year, I especially love burning them in the winter, particularly at Christmas time as I just think that having a candle burning creates a lovely cosy and homely atmosphere which you cannot beat!

My favourite candles that I have tried are Yankee Candle's, but as I like to burn candles all the time it can work out very expensive as they are £21.99 each for a large jar, so I'm always on the hunt for brands that produce candles that can live up to Yankee - and I think I may have found a pretty good dupe - and the best part is that they are only £2.99!

When I was in Home Bargains I came across a brand that I hadn't seen before - Wickford & Co, with an array of festive scented loveliness, and oh my, they smell delicious! They had Several different ones to choose from but I decided to only pick up my two favourites, which were "Gingerbread" and "Warm Apple & Cinnamon".

If you saw my blog post from earlier in the week on Zoella's Christmas Range (Here), then you will already know that gingerbread is my favourite festive scent! This candle is probably the best gingerbread scent that I have found - it smells exactly like you have just baked a fresh batch of Gingerbread which is amazing! Although it does make you feel kinda hungry! This one also has a really strong scent; you don't even need to burn it to make the whole room smell, you just have to take the lid off, which is pretty impressive!

The "Warm Apple & Cinnamon" candle has much more of a traditional scent and something that I would usually associate with Christmas. It smells just like a spicy apple crumble so it gives the room a lovely homely feel to the room when you're burning it! This one has a really lovely scent too when burned, although it's not quite as strong as the gingerbread one it does have better payoff than other candles that I have tried before that were more expensive, so it's definitely worth the money.

I'd recommend popping into your local Home Bargain's and try to track them down as they are amazing quality for only £2.99! It might be soo close to Christmas to find the festive scented range but they did have some regular scents as well that I would image they would sell all year round that I would definitely suggest trying! Alternatively, Wickford & Co might be available to buy online, but I haven't been to find them yet, so if you do I'd love to know as I definitely want to purchase some more in the future!
Every year I get so excited when I start to see Christmas Lush hauls appear in my blog feed and youtube subscription box as I love seeing what Festive products Lush has come up with, as they are always so beautiful! However, I had never actually brought anything before as I had always found it so hard to choose which products to buy as my wishlist was probably 90% of their Christmas Range, but this year I decided to give in and treat myself to a few bits, which then turned into a lot! (doesn't it always!) So I thought I'd share with you guys what I picked up. I have actually bought so much that I have decided to divide the haul into two parts - one on all the bath bombs I picked up; which is what I am going to share with you today and then the second post on all the bubble bars and shower bits I picked up in a that will be going up on Friday so keep your peepers peeled for that!

Can we also just appreciate how cute the bags are this year - it's pink with an adorable Butterbear on! The bags for the individual products this year are special too, the ones from the store I went to are orange with a the Christmas Penguin on (there is a better picture of it for Part 2 of this Lush Haul) although I have seen a couple of different designs online so I am guessing it depends on what the store you go to has, but to be honest there all so pretty!

Butterbear - £1.95

In my opinion, this little guy is thee cutest of all the bath bombs lush has to offer. He is made using Fairtrade cocoa butter, cocoa powder so not only does he smell delicious, the cocoa butter is super beneficial for the skin too! I have actually picked up two of these little fellas as I love the scent so much I know I just won't be able to wait until next year to pick him up again - it's also the cheapest of the Christmas products they have to offer so I don't feel quite so guilty about it!

Star Dust - £2.95

Out of all the Christmas bath bomb's they have this one looks like the most boring, but it's probably my favorite scent out of them all. It is scented with Vanilla Absolute, Rosewood and Bergamot oil and to me has a lovely warm vanilla and a hint of marzipan to it which I absolutely love! The scent isn't overpoweringly strong either (by LUSH standards anyway!) which works really well with this scent as it is quite sweet, so it's not too sickly! Although on the outside it looks quite plain, once put in water it looks very pretty having seen it on the lush website, so I'm very excited to give this one a go! Like Butterbear, I also picked two of these up as the scent is just heavenly!

Father Christmas - £3.75

Father Christmas is an adorable, candy floss scented and is Very sweet! The scent is also very strong too so I imagine when you pop him in the bath the whole room will smell amazing! The scent is the classic Snow Fairy scent which is a Christmas Lush Classic - and I love it! It's definitely the most traditionally festive out of the bath bombs they have this year and I'm very excited to pop this little guy in the tub on Christmas! Although just a word of warning, if you don't like strong sickly sweet scents this might not be one for you, but I would urge you to give it a sniff and see as it's too cute to just dismiss!

Lord of Misrule - £3.95

Although Lord of Misrule isn't strictly a Christmas product and is released with the Halloween range, but it does stick around until Christmas so I'm counting it! When I read the description online that it is Black Pepper Oil, Patchouli and Vanilla Absolute I was slightly skeptical as to what it would smell like as it is very different to anything I've ever gone for before as I usually go for sweet scents, but I love it! It has a lovely spicy scent with a hint of the sweet vanilla which stops the spice from being too overpowering so it has lovely warmth to it.

Shoot for the Stars - £4.25

Firstly can I just say that the smell of this reminds me of Chocolate Orange - It is scented with Brazilian Orange oil, Cocoa Butter and Bergamot oil which is probably why! Shoot for the Stars has been part of the Christmas range before but this year it looks slightly different; this year it is all blue with glittery gold bath melts which are amazing and moisturising for the skin. I also can't wait to pop it in the bath as I think it will look like a beautiful starry sky - although I'm not sure my bath will be a fan of all the glitter!

Mistletoe - £4.25

Mistltoe Bath Bomb is scented with Jasmine Absolute, Vetivert and Ylang-Ylang oil which isn't usually the kind of scents I go for as I'm not really a huge fan of floral scents, however, I actually really like it as I find that it's quite a subtle floral scent and not like a very perfumey floral fragrance - it also has a lovely sweetness to it which is lovely. The actual design of the bath bomb itself is beautiful too!

Luxury Lush Pud - £4.25

The Luxury Lush Pud is a classic! Not only does it look amazing with all the bright multi colours and the adorable piece of holly in the top but it smells amazing too! It is scented with Lavender, Tonka, and Benzion Resinoide so it would be perfect for a pre-bedtime bath as the scent is very calming and just makes be feel so relaxed whenever I smell it!

Golden Wonder - £4.25

I couldn't buy bits from Lush's Christmas range without picking up a Golden Wonder! Every video or blog post watch it appears that it is one of everyone's favourites and I can see why. It is scented with Sweet Orange oil, Cognac Oil, and Lime Oil, so although it doesn't smell traditionally festive it has a lovely fresh citrus scent. I also really like the design of this bath bomb with it being an adorable shimmer gold present - although I feel like the gold shimmer is going to be a nightmare to clean if it leaves any residue as it is soo fine so it's deffinately one to use when the bath is in need of a clean, not just after you've cleaned it! Did i forget to mention how big it is, because it's huge! So you deffinately get your moneys worth with this one as if you were to cut it you could probably get two baths out of it although I think I'll use it in one go as I don't want to ruin the effect - especially for my first time using it!

So that is all the bath bombs that I picked up from Lush and I am so excited to use them all! I'd deffinately reccomend picking up some of the Lush Christmas products before they disaper! Especially in their amazing boxing day sale that they usually have each year!

Are there any Lush Bath Bombs that I didn't pick up that you love? or any that you love just as much as me? Let me know as I'd hate to miss out on any amazing products in the future - although I think it will be a while before I need to treat myself to anymore!

(Links for each product are the Name of the product and price, so if you click on it, it will take you straight to that product!)

The Body Shop is one of the brands that I get most excited for when it comes to the release of limited edition collections, especially at Christmas time and this year they did not disappoint! They have actually released products in 3 different limited edition festive scents - "Spiced Apple", "Frosted Berries" and Vanilla Chai, which is the one I am going to be sharing my thoughts on today.

The products in the Vanilla Chai range are scented with, vanilla, cardamon and star anise, which just invokes the smell of Christmas entirely. It really reminds me of the smells you get when you're baking at Christmas so it has a lovely warm and homely spicy scent with some sweetness to it.

They have a whole aray of different products available in this gorgeous scent, but I decided to limit myself to just picking up my favourite body products that they do, because in all honesty all the products look amazing!

Firstly I picked up the Shower gel as it's always an item that I'm guarenteed to buy when I love the smell of it as it means I get the enjoyment of the scent every single day! I really like The Body Shop shower gels as all though they're are slightly more pricey at £5.00 in comparison to your regular drugstore one I find that they are much better quallity and go a hell of a lot further which means one bottle lasts a pretty long time!

When I saw that they did a Body Scrub in this scent I HAD to pick it up! I tried the one from there Pinita Colada collection in the summer and loved it! It's deffinately on the pricer side at £15.00, but I really like the texture of them as they are slightly thinner than other scrubs I have tried so you dont need to use as much as it's easier to spred across the skin. The particles are also finer, so they are gentler on the skin but still does at great job at exfoliating.

And of course, what would a Body Shop collection be without there much loved Body Butter. They are amazing and one of the best body moistriser I have tried - especially this one as it smells delicious! You also get a decent size tub for £14.00 as well!

I'd deffinately pick up some of these products before they disapear after Christmas. They'd also make some pretty amazing christmas gifts if you're still stuck what to but for someone (or as a little pre-christmas treat for yourself!) The Body Shop also has 40% off instore and online until the 21st so now is deffinately a good time to get your hands on a few bits.

Have you tried any bits from The Body Shop Christmas Ranges? Let me know what you thought of them!

I love Christmas and I love Christmas scents, there honestly my favourite! So, I think like most beauty blog followers I was very excited when Zoe announced her Christmas range and that it was GINGERBREAD scented. I love gingerbread (so much so that almost the entirety of the decorations on my tree in my bedroom are gingerbread themed!) so this pleased me immensely!

The First product I knew I had to get my hands on was the "Hungry Hands" hand cream as like most people my hands suddenly resemble those of a reptile when winter hits and are in need some serious TLC. I usually opt for The Body Shop hand creams as I find that they do a really good job at leaving my hands feeling nourished but not greasy whilst still being pretty affordable, however after trying this one out its safe to say that I have found a new favourite. Like The Body Shop hand creams, they are super moisturising without leaving your hands greasy afterward, but I also find that "Hungry Hands" leaves my hands feeling nourished for longer and really absorbs into the skin, so the cream is actually improving the dryness of my hands as opposed to just masking it with a layer of moisture that sits on the skin -it's also better value for money as you get 3 times the amount of product in comparison to The Body Shop hand cream for the same price (£5), so I will definitely be stocking up before it disappears after Christmas. The Scent is also lovely! Zoe did a very good job in choosing a gingerbread scent that isn't overpoweringly spicy, as although I love really strong and spicy gingerbread I know some people can find them too overpowering, so with the addition of the vanilla it has created a scent that is still very festive but won't blow your nostrils off! So it would be perfect for anyone!

The packing has a lovely traditional feel to it with the red and gold on the brown paper background which I don't think you could make more festive if you tried!

The other item in the Christmas collection I knew I had to pick up is the "GingerBread and Vanilla Fragrance Set" which is a beautiful gift set containing a body mist and body cream. Again like the majority of the products in the Christmas range, they again share the same gorgeous gingerbread scent. I was surprised just how strong the scent actually is with the body spray and how long it lasts once spayed, I'd say it definitely has a payoff that is closer to an Eau De Toilette than a standard body mist.

The Bottle of the Body Mist feels and looks much more luxurious than it actually is, with metal gold and raised foil writing on the bottle, and of course the super cute little gingerbread men on the reverse of the bottle, which is probably my favourite thing about the packing as I just think it a genius idea as you can see them through the bottle at the front.

The other item in the gift set is a body cream. I have tried a couple of Zoe's body creams before and I really love them, so much so when I found out that the tutti frutti range was being discontinued I stocked up on the body cream from the range. I find them to leave my skin feeling very soft and they don't take an eternity to sink into the skin, so you can get dressed pretty much straight away after applying, and the ginger cream is no different. I also like that the fragrance of the cream is strong enough for the scent to linger on the skin but is not soo strong that it overpowers any perfume that you're wearing.

The products also come beautifully packaged in the brown box with red detailing which I think really complements the styling of the products and ties it all together nicely, which makes it a lovely gift to give someone (or just a wonderful treat for yourself!), especially as it is only £10 which is a pretty good deal as the body mists retail for £8 on their own! I honestly think any of the products from Zoella's Christmas range would make a lovely gift as they all come wonderfully packaged so they look beautiful so any beauty lover would not be disappointed!
MAC is one of my favorite makeup brands and every year I get very excited to see what they have dreamt up for their holiday collection and this year they did not disappoint! This year's theme is Nutcracker Sweet which runs throughout both their colour collection and gift sets, and I for one am in love with it! I don't think that I have ever seen such beautiful and detailed packing for one of their collection and everything within it is beautiful and fills me with the urge that I "NEED" everything in it! However, I have (for the time being anyway!) managed to contain some self-restraint by only purchasing a few items from the collection, which of course I will be sharing my thoughts will you all!

One of the items I knew I had to pick up when it launched was one of their "Nutcracker Sweet Magic Dust Powder"'s as they simply looked beautiful. The powder comes in two shades "Sweet Vision" which is described as a "Pinky peach with gold pearl" and "Yum Yum Yum" - a "Soft pink with gold pearl". I ended up picking up the shade "Yum Yum Yum", however, I do have to say that "Sweet Vision" was my preferred shade of choice but it sold out so quickly on the MAC website that I missed out, but n reflection "Yum Yum Yum" is probably better suited to my snowy complexion and I was thrilled to get either shade as they both looked stunning.

The magic powders themselves are described as "A translucent ultra-fine, light-catching pearlescent powder, for face, neck and decollete" which I don't completely agree with, I think that MAC has perfectly described both the texture and the finish it gives when applied as it is both ultra-fine in texture and gives a lovely glowy, pearlescent sheen to the face, but it is the description of the pigmentation and use of the powder that I disagree with. This powder is not translucent -as you can see from the swatch it is actually pretty pigmented and is far closer to being a light blush than a powder to dust all over the face, so unless you want to look like you have done a lot of exercise and are puffed out, I'd stick to using it on the cheeks!

It looks gorgeous when applied on the cheeks, and gives a lovely natural, rosy glow and although there is gold shimmer running throughout it, it's very fine so when it is blended on the cheeks it looks more like a light glowy shimmer as opposed to a bunch a glitter on the cheeks, which looks far more flattering on the face as it doesn't emphasise any pores or uneven texture on the skin which is something that no one wants to show up! I also found that it wore pretty well on the skin and was still practically all in place when I came to remove my makeup at the end of the day which is a feat for any face product as I have quite oily skin, so product tends to move or wear off my face, especially on my cheeks!

I definitely recommend picking up one of the magic dust powders up as I think they are great value for money at £24, especially as the pans are quite a bit larger than a regular blush and are a similar size to their face powder compacts, not to mention that they are also of amazing quality! But I would recommend that if you want them to be quick as they are now sold out online, so I'd suggest popping into your local MAC store or counter or giving them a ring to see if it is still available because it really is stunning.
So we're reaching that time of year again where the days are shorter, jumpers are worn, candles are being burned and all the Christmas Gifts set are being released - my favourite time of year!

One of the first brands to announce their Christmas offerings this year was Too Faced and I for one was very excited to see what magical collection of festive products they had come up this year and I was not disappointed! Every year they have a theme which all gifts are based on, with this years is "Christmas in New York" which I think is an amazing idea for this year's theme because let's face it, New York must be one of the most magical places at Christmas time! There are tons of different gift sets this year, ranging from £10 to £50+ which I think is brilliant as they really have catered for every budget. Today I'm going to be talking about one of the pricier items in the collection - The "Grande Hotel Cafe" set.

When I first saw the collection launch last month, I knew that I HAD to get my hands on at least this item if nothing else! First of all, let's just talk about how adorable the packaging is! All the products come in in this super cute case shaped like a little hotel (very reminiscent of last years "Le Grand Chateau"set!), which opens up to reveal the products inside! I think this makes it feel just that little bit more special, which is perfect for gift giving!

The Grande Hotel contains 3 festive scented palettes and a deluxe size of their best selling, fan favourite "Better than Sex" Mascara, which, unbelievably until now, I was yet to try until I got this set and I must say that I'm very much enjoying it, so much so that it could overtake my years-long love for Benefit's "They're Real", although I feel like I need to test it out some more before I make such a bold claim, so keep yours eyes peeled for my thoughts on this in the future, but, for now, let's just say, I'm very impressed!

Another thing which I think is very cleaver is that Too Faced have put "To" and "From" labels on the reverse of each palette, which makes them perfect to be given out as individuals gifts on their own to different people. This actually works out at as a pretty good deal too as they then only work out at costing just over £15 each (and that's without considering the deluxe size of the mascara!) Although I'm gonna be honest here, I will be keeping all 3 to myself!

Eyeshadows L-R: Frosty Nog, Eggnog Latte, Iced Coffee, Skinny Latte, Cold Brew, Central Perk. Blush: Peach Cobbler

What does Eggnog Actually smell of? I don't know! But, what I do know is that this palette just smells like straight up Christmas and this is the only way I can describe it! But I LOVE it!

I feel like out of all three, it's probably the most traditionally festive in terms of the colours it has to offer, with it's warm-goldy browns and of course that gorgeous metallic dark forest green (can we also appreciate that it's called "Central Perk"! Seriously fan girling right now!) I also really like that there is a real mix of different finishes, not only just in this palette but all three with a great ratio of shimmery to matte shades. I often find that brands sometimes neglect matte shadows, especially in Limited Edition sets, so I'm pleased to see that Too Faced haven't done this here.

The only shade that I would say I was a little underwhelmed by was "Egnogg Latte" as in the pan it looks like an intense, metallic gold packed wth gold glitter, however, when it's swatched or applied to the eye, the base of the shadow is actually quite sheer. That being said it is still packed with glitter so it works really well applied on top of another shadow and so it gives a beautiful gold sheen to whatever you put underneath it.

"Peach Cobbler" is a very pretty blush colour, that I actually really like, which, if I'm honest surprised me as I'm not usually one for peachy/orange tone bush but it gives a very pretty slight peachy tint to the cheeks and is definitely way less scary and bright then it looks in the pan. (I promise!)

Eyeshadows L-R: Peppermint Cream, Festive Blend, Peppermint Mocha, Candy Cane, Sprinkles, Coffee Chip. Blush: Santa Baby

When I first saw these palettes online I knew that I would just love this palette in particular for it pinky-berry and brown shades, and I was not wrong! I'm a big lover of wearing these kinds of shades, especially in winter months, so I know this palette will be seeing a lot of love. My personal favourites would have to be "Festive Blend", "Peppermint Mocha" and "Sprinkles". Even a light baby pink like "Candy Cane" is actually really wearable as it's very subtle!

"Santa Baby" is a very typical blush colour for me, but again like "Peach Cobbler" it can be very subtle if applied with a light hand to give a lovely rosy flush to the cheeks.

I'm not gonna lie, it also helps that it smells like mint and chocolate and so it reminds me exactly of an After Eight! (who doesn't have "After Eights" at Christmas time?)

Eyeshadow L-R: Ginger Cream, Maple Syrup, Gingersnap, Winter Dream, Cup of Joe, Black Coffee. Bronzer: Gingerbread

I thought that this would be my least favourite out of all three as it has some of the more cooler toned shades, but, it actually has two of my favourite shades in, which are Gingersnap and Winter Dream; there different to all the other glitter shades in the two other palettes and remind me more of a foiled finish and are pack full of glitter! They would look super glam, packed all over the lid, even with just a brown blended through the crease and makes it look like you have made far more of an effort than in reality, you actually have.

Now let's take a minute to appreciate that there is a bronzer in this palette called "Gingerbread" that actually smells like gingerbread! (This makes me far happier than it should! BUT gingerbread is my all time favourite festive scent - it's also pretty tasty too!) I also worry a bit with bronzers that they will be too orange for my ghostly complexion, but this one sits nicely between being warm and cooled toned which I really like. I also think that it would work for a range of skin tones too as it can be applied lightly for the palest of pale girls like myself or that little bit heavier for those of you that have more of a tan.

Overall I'm very impressed with this set and the quality of the eyeshadows themselves; They are all really pigment (with the slight exception of eggnog latte as I mention earlier) and I didn't get any fall-out under the eye which is often a problem with eyeshadows with glitter in. They also blended really well which can be an issue with matte shades that I've personally found but these were lovely to work with! I also this that this set is a pretty good deal for £46 as you do get a good amount of product as each individual pan is actually quite big! So I think it's definitely one to pick up!

I will definitely be getting some Too Faced products in the future and I even have my eye on some of their other Christmas set as well (The Merry Macaroons" and "Merry Kissmas" sets).

Are there any products from Too Faced Christmas collection that you have your eyes on this year? or any products from them in general? Let me know your favourites so I can add them to my ever-growing list too!

So I am sure that you have all heard about Kat Von D and her fabulous Makeup line, that up until now you couldn't get in the UK unless you wanted to incur the risk of a massive customs change or pay a hefty postage fee - but no more! As Kat Von D will be Stocked in Debenhams Online from the 13th September and in their Oxford Street 8th October (But don't hold me to these dates, these are just what I heard through the grapevine - and by "the grapevine" I mean what I've read on the other blogs that I read! haha) and I for one am very excited!

So to get us all excited about the launch (although let's be honest, from what I've seen people are already pretty hyped!) Debenhams and Kat Von D have launched a Limited Edition Set "London Calling"; which consists of 3 of her favourite and best selling products in "deluxe minis" for the bank holiday weekend. Which of course, as always, I had to buy and then share my thoughts and excited with you guys!

The first is one of her "Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks" in the shade "Double Dare" which is a lovely Dusky pink/Peach brown shade, which although isn't the typical shade I go for (I usually prefer more pinkish tones) I actually really like it, and I think I'll reaching for it quite a lot as we go into autumn. The formula of these liquid lipsticks are lovely - they almost go on like a soft, creamy mouse and are so easy to apply. They also dry down pretty quickly and set to a lovely matte finish. I don't know exactly how long it would wear for on the lips as I only got it today and just applied it to see what it was like, but from how difficult it was to remove from my lips and the swatch on my arm, I'm guessing a good old while!

The second item is a "Studded Kiss Lipstick" in "Lolita" - Oh my, I am in love with this colour! It's a really beautiful dusky rose toned brown, which is my go-to shade as we go into autumn and winter; it kind of reminds me of "Soar" by MAC but a little less brown toned. This lipstick again has a matte finish, but in a completely different way; it feels kinda creamy and almost moisturising, unlike the liquid lipstick which sets too much more of a dry almost "powder-like" feel - so if you're not usually a fan of how matte lipsticks feel on the lips, then I would definitely give these ago!

The last item you get is the highly coveted "Tattoo Liner" in "Trooper". Now as a winged eyeliner lover this is a product that I have lusted after ever since I first saw it and was very excited when I discovered that I would finally be able to try it out. Now I'm going to be completely honest here when I first tried it as I didn't find it was all that pigmented, however, the more I have played around with it the better the pigmentation, so I'm guessing it just takes a little while to get going! One thing I that I do really love about this liner though is the nib; it's actually made up of lots of little stiff individual fibres that make up the tip which allows for really precise application and it allows you to draw really fine lines (as you can see in the swatches), the more pressure you apply the thicker the line. It's also got a handy spring mechanised lid which only stays on when it fully pushed on, so no more dried up liners where you haven't pushed the cap on properly! (Yay!). Overall I do really like this liner and think that it will grow on me to become one of my favourites after I'v had a bit more practice at using it!

As a whole, I'm really impressed with Kat Von D Beauty and trying these products as only cemented the fact that I will definitely be picking up some more products in the future (probably when they launch!).

As I said in the beginning of the post, it is a limited edition set which I believe is only available until the start of next week or when stocks run out, so if you want it I suggest you jump on it now. It's available exclusively on the Debenhams website HERE for £19.50, which I think is a pretty good deal as you get to try 3 decent size products.

Tanya Burr is a blogger that I have been following for probably for over 4 years now, ever since I first started getting into reading blogs and watching Youtube videos, and to this day she is still one of my favourites and so anytime she releases a new product I get very excited to see what she has come up with and thoroughly enjoying watching all the review videos when they pop up in my sub box (MegSays videos are some of my favourite for these unboxing and first impression videos!) But until now I haven't really purchased anything from her makeup collection except a few of the nail polishes and a lip gloss from her old original collection (Tanya if your reading this, please bring "Aurora" back!) even though each time she brings out a new collection I fall in love with 99.9% of it. So when she launched her new Soft Luxe collection I decided I would finally cave in and order a few of my favourite items, especially as everything in her range is pretty expensive. I did also want to get the "Soft Luxe Lipgloss in "Martha Moo" but as anyone how has tried to buy it will now it has been out of stock constantly since it's launch, so I'll be definitely be getting my hands on it when it's back in stock, so, for now, I picked up one of my other favourites from her new soft luxe collection, which was the "Birthday Suit" eye palette.
First of all the packaging of this palette is just so pretty! I really love the peachy- gold base colour with the foiled rose gold polka dots and silver scalloping on the edges, I feel that the colours on the outside of the palette correspond really well with the shades inside the palette which I feel is a very nice touch (it's the simple things that please me!). I also really like that although the palette itself is made out of cardboard it's really thick and well made so it feels sturdy, so you won't have to worry about it breaking or falling apart in your makeup bag. In the inside lid of the palette, there is a cute little heart shaped mirror, which along with its compact size would also make this palette the perfect travel-friendly companion.

The palette contains four shades - two of which are matte, one which is shimmer and the other a shimmer with fine glitter running through it.

Marzipan - A light champagne with a slightly light pink undertone with a shimmer finish

Toast - A light warm brown with a dusky pink undertone and a matte finish

Cocoa Sugar - A medium warm tone taupe-brown in a shimmer finish with silvery-champagne glitter running throughout

Soft Truffle- A deep brown with a warm undertone and a matte finish

All the shades in this palette are highly pigmented and were very easy to blend on the eye. The only shade that I found to be ever so slightly chalky was "Soft Truffle" however this was only the case when I swatched it on my hand and it was not chalky at all when applying it to the eyes (I'm being very picky here if I'm honest!). I tried applying these shadows with both an eye primer and without (I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion which is one of my favs) and the shadows applied beautifully on both;very pigmented and easy to blend! The only shade that I found I did get a tiny amount of fallout from was "Cocoa Sugar", however, it was only the glitter in the shadow and when I used a fluffy blending brush to apply it as it wasn't an issue when I applied it to the lid with a denser lid brush. From my personal experience, any eyeshadow with actual glitter in you do get a small amount of fallout under the eye, but it can be removed by sweeping a fluffy brush over it, so to me, this isn't really a big deal.

I will also be picking up some of the other palettes in her range for sure; I really like the look of both the "Hollywood" and the "Enchanted Dream" palettes, so I am sure that I will be picking those up in the not so distant future!

Ever since I first started reading beauty blogs about 3 years ago, one product that everyone has seemed to rave about is Micellar water, and in particular Bioderma - and to be honest it was never really something that excited me - I'd previously used liquid make-up removes with cotton pads before and had always found them to be a bit naff and I wasn't prepared to pay £15 odd pounds (and alot of time tracking down Bioderma as it was tricky to get your hands on in the UK) for a beauty product when I was not sold on the concept.

So fast forward 3 years when nearly every drugstore brand has their own micellar water and I finally caved into the hype. Now I'm not going lie one of the main reasons for giving Micellar waters a go was my sheer laziness - I'm usually pretty good when it comes to removing my make-up and do a deep cleanse with a hot cloth cleanser, but occasionally, and I'm going to be honest here - if it's late and I'm tired, I really can't be bothered do do a deep cleanse I will most likely just reach for the makeup wipes (which if you read Caroline Hirons blog you will know that, that it is a skincare sin - Sorry Caroline!) But I was noticing that doing this was not doing any favours for my skin and the alcohol in the wipes was drying my skin out badly and the wipes weren't really doing the job of the removing the make-up completely either and my skin was just more problematic in general. After reading lots of reviews online I decided to give one of the beauty communities favorites a go - Garnier Micellar.

To use the product, I just put some on 3 cotton pads; I use 1 to remove my Lipstick, 1 to remove my eye makeup and another to remove the rest of my face makeup (I do this as I quite often wear heavy eye makeup and bright lipsticks, so I find that by doing this it doesn't smudge it all over my face!) and just wipe them across my face - If my eye makeup is being particularly stubborn ("They're Real" I'm looking at you!) I just place the cotton pad over the eye and gently hold it there for a few seconds and then wipe away outwards and it removes it easily!

I also really like it to correct any mistakes I might make whilst applying my makeup (fellow winged eyeliner lovers will know where I'm coming from!) To do this, I just place a small amount of the Micellar water onto a cotton bud and then remove the area that has gone wrong - It just removes what you want and doesn't smudge everywhere so the rest of your makeup isn't ruined! I also really like it to remove any fallout that I might get from eye shadows before I apply my base makeup!

I find that it also last a really long time as you get quite a large bottle of 400ml for £4.99 (It's currrently on offer in Boots for £3.33!), so for me it works out as much better value that wipes as I get through those bad boys at the rate of knots (Very quickly!) It's now available too in a small 125ml bottle for £1.99 which is perfect for travelling or for in your handbag for touch-up's on the go!

I now have to say that I'm a complete Micellar water convert and I can't live without it in my beauty stash! Garnier now do two other types of Micellar water as well - Pure Micellar cleansing water and Skin naturals Micellar cleansing water for Combination and sensitive skin.

What do you think of Micellar waters? Which is your favourite? Let me know in the comments below!

When I first discovered MAC the very first product I lusted over was their Mineralize Skinfinsh in "Soft and Gentle" which was THEE holy grail highlighter to have back in the summer of 2012. So fast forward to November 2014 on my 18th birthday it was at the top of my wish list, but, unfortunately for me having a birthday soo close to Christmas means it was sold out everywhere! So I started looking at what other MSF MAC had to offer and discovered it in the shade in "Lightscapade"; which I had previously been launched as part of the Hayley Williams (from Paramore) but is now part of their permanent collection!

Firstly the package, like all MAC, is lovely - I really love how sleek and almost basic MAC packaging is with the black compact and the MAC logo in white - I also love that the compact has a clear section on the top so the product can be seen through the lid (this is especially helpful when you have an extensive amount of beauty products! The lid of the compact is magnetized, so it is easy to open, especially if your a false nails wearer!

The overall base colour of the highlighter is a beautiful very pale creamy yellow with peach and baby blue veining throughout, which in the pan look gorgeous; however when swatched or applied to the skin the peach and blue veining can not obviously be seen, but blends in to the pale cream base which gives it a really nice depth and dimension when applied to the skin so it doesn't look like a flat finish on the skin, which I personally think makes it look more natural and allows it to blend into the skin better.

The texture of the powder itself, has a lovely creamy texture that blends on the skin really well and has a shimmer running throughout it as opposed to a chunky glitter, which personally I'm not a fan of, so I absolutely love the finish of this! The product can both be used to create natural and more dramatic looks as it can be applied lightly using it looser packed brush (like the Real Techniques Setting Brush) or be built up and be applied to more concentrated areas of the face using a fan brush.
When highlighting I like to apply this product to the top of my cheeks, bridge of the nose, cupids bow (the top pick of the upper lip) and the inner corner of the eyes; I also think it would make such a beautiful brow bone highlight, but I have yet to use it for that as I already have a quite prominent brow bone and so I tend to use a matte light light coloured powder which lifts the brows without enhancing them as I don't really want to look like Herman Munster (Google it!) so I never use shimmer here, but if you do I think you who LOVE this product for it!

Overall I would absolutely recommend this highlighter as I love everything about the product itself with the only downside being that it costs £24.00, so it is on the pricier side, however it has been my go to highlighter for nearly the past year and as you can see I have barely made a dent! So it's definitely not going to be running out anytime soon!

Whats your thoughts on the Mineralize Skinfinshes from MAC? Do you have any favourite Highlighters? -let me know in the comments below, a girl can never have too many hightlighters! ;)

Revolution is a make-up brand that over the past year has taken the blogging world storm - every time I login into my Bloglovin or YouTube subscription box, 9 times out of 10 their will be at least one post featuring the brand; and rightly so, as not only are their products amazing, they are also soo affordable too.

I actually picked this up in Superdrug last summer for £6 when Revolution first launch (and have been meaning to do a blog post since then which just shows you how organised I am!) and it has been a constant staple in my make-up routine and is something I always drift back to.

Firstly I really love the packaging of this palette; especially the rose gold foil writing on the front of the palette (I have a *slight* obsession with rose gold!) and it also has a large mirror inside of the palette which makes it perfect for travel!

This pallet contains 8 beautiful pink tone shades; 6 of which are matt with the other to being shimmer - which is actually what had drawn me to this pallete in the first place as I'm much more or a matt blush kinda-girl as I feel that that they are allot more versatile as I can add shimmer with a highlighter but you can't take it away.

All 8 shades in this pallet are pink or have a pink undertone, although some are less vibrant than others, they all have very good pigmentation, which I wasn't expecting as their so cheap as the whole palette is only £6 ( o they work out as 75p per blush!) and they majority of the blushes are buttery - the only 2 blushes I'm not crazy about the formulation are the 2 shimmery shades, as I find that they feel quite dry and have a very strange texture in the pan - that being said they still have very good pigmentation.

The only downside to there amazing pigmentation is that it is very easy to apply WAY too much product and as they have great staying power, they can be a little bit difficult to blend if too much product is applied. The best way I have found to apply these blushes is to use a large fluffy tapered blush - I personally use the Real Techniques Blush Brush as I feel that it the tapered shaped applies the product so it look beautifully blended.

Overall I would definitely recommend this pallete as not only is it super cheap, it's also amazing quality for the price! The palette is also available in a number of other different shades from the Revolution website and both the Superdrug website and in stores - so I would recommend checking their other shades out too!

Do you think you'll be picking this palette up any time soon? What other Revolution or blush products would you recommend? I'd love to know in the comments below - it will be a great excuse for me to buy even more makeup that I probably (definitely!) don't need!

Before purchasing this, I had been trying to get hold of it for literally months, which although proves frustrating, just shows how popular it is!!!

Usually I'm not a massive fan of using hairspray's as they seem not to agree with my nose! I usually end up in fits of sneezing with a migraine; and to be honest I just really can't stand the smell of hairspray!!!This is what interested me in this Hairspray as it is scented, so now horrible headache inducing smell!

Another thing I Love about this product is the packaging; Fudge Urban have gone to soo much detail even down to the the spray nozzle colour co-coordinating with the body of the can - I know, I'm "sad" but pretty package pleases me and I often find if the packaging is pretty the more I subconsciously tend to reach for and use it more.

Getting on to the actual product it's self. I find that it gives a really nice finish and doesn't leave the hair feeling "crunchy" or "stiff" like some others can (another reason I'm not usually too keen on hairspray!) I also find its great at holding Volume in hair and taming any flyaway's which I may have, prevents my hair getting frizzy and keeps my hair looking smooth which is sometimes a problem. It doesn't have the strongest hold in comparison to other hairspray's I've tried in the past, but if I'm honest I much prefer the finish this gives as it doesn't really add a texture to the hair which I personally prefer and I find that it gives enough hold for day to day use; I think the holding power would only be a problem if you were to use it to hold an "unnatural" or "intricate" - with that being said if you were to be more liberal when applying it to your hair I think it would do the job pretty well.

The smell of this product, as you would imagine is amazing and it doesn't smell your your conventional hairspray at all. Now I'm going to try and describe the smell but honestly I'm the WORST at describing smells. The main smell as you would imagine is raspberry and is quite sweet with a very subtle hint on vanilla - this is possibly one of the nicest smells of a hair product I have tried.

The only downside to this product is that it isn't the cheapest of hairspray's - it's costs £4.99 at Superdrug and £5.29 at Boots - that being said it quite often on offer so keep a look out when your browsing in Superdrug or Boots. Because hairspray isn't something I get through rapidly and lasts me quite a while I feel that I can justify the price!

Fudge Urban have a whole range of other beautiful scented products which I'm dying to try!!!
Have you tried any other Fudge Urban Products? What's your favourite hairspray?
Let me know in the comments below - also feel free to ask questions in the comments too as I'd love to answer them!!!

Way back in November, when I celebrated my 18th Birthday,
there was one thing that was at the top of my Wish list, MAC! Also being so
incredibly pale and picky when it comes to foundation and having
found none which I absolutely love from the drugstore, I thought a
foundation from MAC would be the perfect place to start.

I went into a MAC store so I could
properly colour match the foundation to my skin-tone. I would completely
recommend doing this as the swatches look very different in person than they
appear on their website; I would recommend doing this even if you have purchased
a different foundation from MAC previously as there are variations in
shades between their different face products (which I have experienced! but
more on that in a separate post!)

After looking at all the foundations and
swatching the lightest shades in each, I decided to go for Studio Fix
Fluid in NW10; the lightest shade (such a surprise, I know!) In terms of
undertone I would say that from what I have read online and by looking at my
skin I have a cool/neutral undertone however the lightest cool toned shade
(NC15) looked very yellow in this formulation, which if I'm honest wasn't the
look I was going for. Even though NW10 is a warm shade, because it is very pale
it edges towards a neutral undertone as there is very little warmth in very
pale skin tones; which means it actually a pretty good match; the best I
found so far anyway! Studio Fix Fluid comes in 39 shades, both with warm and
cool undertones, so there is basically a match for everyone.

MAC describe this foundation as having a "natural matte
finish" with a "medium-buildable coverage" (I would say that it is much more of a full coverage which I prefer, obviously depending on how you apply it- I usually use my Real Techniques Expert Face brush and buff it into the skin!) which I completely agree with in terms of finish; it almost has a liquid to powder
finish giving the skin a satin/ velvet feel that feel just like skin and is not
sticky of tacky in the slightest without making the skin look dry or dull, it
literally makes the skin look as if it has been airbrushed as does eliminate
the majority of imperfections and discolouration; this is down to as what MAC
describes as "Soft focus powders to smooth out and minimize the appearance
of imperfections".

Because it sets like a powder it has great staying power, even on
my skin which tends to get very oily throughout the day. MAC claim at it has a “long
lasting – up to 8 hours” and that it "absorbs and dispenses oil".which I would agree with and then some; I have worn
this foundation on multiple occasions for long than this and it is still completely
intact and looking flawless even without a primer and just a light dusting of powder where I tend to get extra oily across the t-zone and the tops of my cheeks. It also doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry after I have removed my make up thanks to the "Skin conditioning ingredients" it contains.

Even though this foundation does contain an SPF 15; which is obviously great for looking after your skin, SPF tends not to be so great if your found of taking the odd photo as that can sometimes mean serious flashback (no-one wants to be that "ghostly" face in a group shot!!!) However, I personally haven't found this a problem; there might be very slight flash back when using a "cheap" flash, but it's definitely not enough of a problem to stop me using it.

Even though I love this foundation there are a few things that I'm not such a fan of. Firstly that this foundation does have a SLIGHT smell of paint when it is first applied; this is only really noticeable to me when I am blending on or around my nose (and my nose is very sensitive to smells) but quickly goes after being first applied. Secondly that this foundation sets fairly quickly down to the "powder" finish I mentioned earlier; this is only really a problem if you have to stop blending it in mid application. you can add more after you've completely blended what's on your face, you just can't blend what's ALREADY on your face once its set (I hope that makes sense). Lastly you need to clean you brush after each application, I know I should do this anyway!!!This is because the foundation on the brush sets, so when you re-use the same brush it kind of pulls on the skin and doesn't blend the foundation out as flawlessly.

Overall I absolutely love this foundation and it is the best one I used to date. It isn't the cheapest foundation at £21.50 but you get 30ml; which is a pretty standard amount and a little goes a long way, you only need 1 pump to get a completely flawless finish. It is also worth noting that this foundation doesn't come with a pump so it has to be purchase seperately and costs £4 and is a must for me as otherwise I would end up wasting half of it, however, this only needs to be bought once as it can be re-used when you re-buy the foundation (which I will be!).

For about the past year I have read numerous blog posts about MUA's "Undress Your Skin Highlighter" but have been unable to get my hands on one until recently, and it was completely worth the wait!

Part of me has always been a little bit scared of highlighter; I always fear that I'll end up looking like Edward Cullen, however I have finally been converted and decided to start with baby steps and purchase MUA Undress your Skin as it is only £3 (so it wouldn't be a huge loss if I hated it!) from Superdrug Stores, Website and directly from MUA's website.

The first thing that drew me to this product was simply how beautiful it looks in the pan, and actually really reminds me of the MAC Extra Dimension MSF with the raised, swirled, shell-like pattern (this looked a lot better when I first purchased it - mine is in a bit of a state now after having been shown some love for the past couple of months!). Secondly the colour is just soo pretty - it is a gorgeous pinky champagne base with pink, gold and silver shimmer running through it. What I really love about this product is the glitter parictles are very fine so when on the face it doesn't look like harsh chunky glitter and just gives a really natural healthy "glowiness" to the face.

I think that this product has a good level of level of pigmentation - it is good enough that you don't have to use loads to get any kind of payoff, but is not soo strong that it is difficult to get a more natural look or risk over applying it to the face, so I think it would be perfect for beginners to makeup or newbies to highlighter much like my self. Having said that through this product is very buildable and so if you personally prefer stronger highlighter, I think it would work great for that also.

I usually apply it to my cheek bones, bridge of the nose, brow bone, cupids bow and if my skin is having a particularly dull day anywhere else I feel needs a little "pick me up". I will either use the Real Techniques Setting Brush and sweep the product across the areas on the face if I want minimal highlighter or if I want slightly stronger highlighting I will use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush and stipple the highlighter across the top of the cheek bones.

Overall I would say that this is a really great product and am extremely impressed especially considering it's so cheap! - the only down side is it's so bloody difficult to get your hands on, so I suggest if you see one "you snap that!"

What's your favourite highlighters? Let me know - it'll be a good excuse for me to buy some more! ;)
Sorry it's been quite a while, I've been pretty busy with collage work so I haven't really had time to sit down and write a post that I've been happy with (there have been several drafts let me tell you!) I will be doing more posts soon though (I promise!) as a whole abundance of new products have found a new home in my makeup collection quite recently - with reviews and posts to follow!

So for now I thought I would do this tag for a bit of fun while I'm having a bit of writers block. so hear goes...

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip-glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

Anyone that knows me knows that winged eyeliner and full mascara is a constant staple in my make routine and feel that no look is quite complete without it. Although I do love my palettes, you just cant compete with that kind of love; bye-bye palettes!

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Easy! Never cut my hair again. I made the mistake of thinking that my hair would look good kind-of collar bone length, I was wrong, I looked like an extra from "The Lion King". Bring on the Rapunzel locks!

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink; I don't really wear many coral blushes as I find they can wash me out as I'm so pale.

4.) If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I think I find it quite difficult to do either and get all things that I'm completely happy with. I'm super fussy when it comes to clothes and how they fit, so to spend £1000 on clothes that I completely love would be a mission and a half! I could easily do £1000 on makeup, but part of me would be screaming "wasteful", can I split the money 50/50?

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
I'm gunna be clever about this and presume that coloured eyeliner is a pass, I think I could make Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Woodstock work as a lipstick.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
We can't really get Sephora here in the UK, however from reading blog posts and watching Youtube videos I would still probably say MAC, I recently got my first ever MAC products, which I shall be reviewing in due course, so for now all I saying is there is more MAC on my Christmas list this year! ;)

7.) Would you rather only use one eye shadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
One eyeshadow colour, definitely, I change my lip colour from day to day!

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Winter Clothes, Oversized Jumper are the one!

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Although I love my brights and pastel nail polish, I think dark nail polishes often looks more sophisticated and would "go" with a lot more clothing options.

10.) Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
Favourite Lip Product, which is Clinique Chubby Stick in Whoopin' Watermelon - I think it would be quite easy to find a cheaper alternative for lips than for my favourite eye product which is of course Benefit They're Real (if you have any dupes I'd love to know!)

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Ponytail, I think you could be more creative and varied, plus messy buns always fall apart where my hairs thick!

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
Never use lip gloss. if I'm honest I don't really wear lip gloss. Lip gloss is not a longhaired girls best friend, especially with the windy UK weather!

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Sharpie Eyebrows! I think if I were to use and fine brown sharpie it would look half decent - well at least better than this:

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Argh! I have written a previous post about my love for all things nails, however in this case the nail polish is in the bin. I love so many different types of makeup products, I just couldn't give them up for what is essentially just coloured nails.

So that was the Would you Rather - Beauty Edition. What would have you chosen?
I had read many great reviews and
swatched many and loved them, but for whatever reason I had never actually bought one. Last week in Boots I thought I would have a good old nosey at the "Seventeen" counter; I had picked up one of there lipsticks and brow pencils (Posts to follow shortly!) and noticed they had an offer that when you bought 2 products you got a free limited edition lip crayon. They had two shades on offer (well at my boots anyway) and coraly orange and a bright blue toned pink. Unfortunately I had to take a gamble as there were testers and the lids were opaque so went for the safe option of the pink!

I'm not usually a fan glittery lip products as I already have quite full lips I think they often give me the "trout pout" effect (not really what I'm going for to be perfectly honest!) but I find this one actually quite wearable.

I find it to be really moisturizing and although its quite glossy it actually had good staying power and lasted for about 6 hours with eating and drinking, however because of this staying power it did stain my lips, but was easily removed by exfoliating. Another problem I find with bright lipsticks is that they often show up and dry areas but I didn't find that an issue. Also because it is blue toned it makes your teeth look a bit whiter, which of course is an added bonus.

Overall I can definitely say I have been converted to the way of lip crayons, and will be trying more Seventeen products in the future. Let me know what your favourite lip crayons are in the comments bellow, I'd love to know now I've been converted!!!

Now every beauty lover has a different addition, for some it might be blush, lipstick or even foundation. For me however the coveted item is nail varnish. For about the past 4 years I have worn nail polish everyday without fail, and for some unknown reason every time time I happened to walk past a selection a new nail polish would fall into my basket (accidentally of course!) and find a new home in my drawer.

Now up until a week or so ago when re-arranging my make up storage I had a quick tally-up of nail polish and ashamedly have 48 nail polishes! Which is shocking because I actually wear them all on a regular basis. I think a large contributing factor is that I constantly change my nails at lest 4 times a week (often daily).

For me it's the mashusive array pretty colours that for unknown reason I can just not say no to! However as hard as it may be I am at least going to try to resist the temptation to add new nail polishes into my basket when next in Boots,... and walk swiftly to the lipsticks instead!
Whats your beauty addiction?
Anyone with pale skin will know of the torturous task of trying to find a foundation which matches your skin tone. Now as a lover of all things beauty I am aware that their are many high end brands which have a great range of paler foundations (Nars for example) however I personally do not have a budget of £30+ for just one foundation (oh if only...). Anyway I can successfully say after 5 years of searching I have now found a suitable match for my ghostish complextion and its super affordable too!

When looking in Boots a couple of weeks ago at the Rimmel Counter at their Kate Moss lipsticks (which I also purchased, oops!) I found the one, Rimmel London Match perfection in "010 Light Porcelain". Now I had previously purchased this foundation in "100 Ivory" assuming this was the lightest shade and really liked it. I have combination skin (oily/dry) and found that it had a great coverage with looking cakey or unnatural and stayed on my skin well but yet again the issue was shade so I chose not to repurchase and continue the hunt. Cannot express my joy at finding out that their was an even lighter shade and purchased it imediatley. The colour is perfect, it has a neutral undertone which is great as I have neither a pink or yellow undertone which is usually wear drugstore foundations always fail me. The foundation reatils for just £6.99 which is amazing if you ask me!

Whats your favourite Foundation? Have any great recomendations for me?

So as a lover of all things beauty I like to try as many different beauty products as within my reach. As with being "new" to beauty products, at the moment I am concentrating on building up a healthy (or as most would see it unhealthy" make up collection) A staple everyday eyeshadow pallette was something I had been looking for, for quite sometime now and I think I may have found it; in the form of the Sleek "au naturel" pallette.

The pallette consits of 12 neutral shades both a mixture of matt and shimmer. There are 8 matt shades: Nougat, Nubuck, Cappuccino, Honeycomb, Toast, Bark, Regal and Noir; and 4 shimmery shades:Taupe, Conker, Moss and Mineral Earth.

Personally I tend to prefer more matter shades so this pallette is perfect; although I find that the shimmery shades are actually really wearable as the glitter is quite fine and not too chunky which I somethimes find with other shimmer eyeshadows. These shadows have good pigmentation and also find they have good staying power even without a eyeprimer, which is great! The texture of shadows is lovely; they have a silky creamy-like texture and are not chalky at all.

Sleek have also done a great job of making the packing look, well, sleek. For me a major part when buying makeup is the packaging. The pallette contains a large mirror, which is great, it also feels really well made and sturdy, which if your anything like me is an added bonus!

Overall I'd say this is a lovely pallete, especially for the (available for £7.99 at Superdrug, Boots or the Sleek website its self). I would also recommend having a nosey at the other 14 coulour options availble: if your a naturals kind-of -a gal like myself I would also recommend checking out the "Storm" and "Oh So Special" palletes (well theres another 2 items added to my beauty wish list!)

I'd love it if you guys could let me know your favourite eyeshadow Pallettes, I always love discoving new Products!
That was 2013So another year is nearly at an end, and how was it for you guys? I have to be honest and I've had better, and certainly worse!

For me 2013 just seemed to consist of allot of stress, deadlines, pressure and decision making (none of which I am a big fan of). I completed my GCSE's this and didn't end up too shabby (to be perfectly honest this is where the majority of the stress and misery of 2013 came from) and didn't end up too shabby; the end of 2013 really started to get better from their on out; i started my a-levels and am doing all the subjects i wish i could do and am really enjoying it, even though there is a hefty workload accompanying by this!!!

I have decided that I'm not going to make a "New Years resolution" but instead think about what place in my life i want to be next year, things i want to do and achieve by this time next year. I am also determinded to not let the little things in life bother me so much and have a more "C'est la vie" outlook on life.

I also plan to blog alot more, possibly thinking a blog post every week or so aswell as I do like writting blog posts (when I find the time) so i am going to try to make time. I would also like to discover and read some new blogs so please leave the name of your blog of a link in the comments and i'll be sure to "pop-over" and have a read.

I hope that everyone who reads this has a very happy new year.

Roll on 2014!!!
It's something I have been thinking about for the past several months or so and have now come to a decision.

I have been reading many beauty blogs for the past year and have been loving them (Zoella, Sprinkle of Glitter, Tanya Burr, Fleur De Force, Fashion Rocks My Socks and Katie Snooks - just a few of my personal favourites :D) and just sat their thinking "this is something I would Love to do so why aren't I?", so I have decided to take the plunge (TAKE 2!) and re start.

I would love to one day even just have a small number of people that value and enjoy my blog. I would even love to start up my own Youtube channel, though I don't think I'll ever be quite that brave but I am content for now anyways.

my little message for anyone reading this blog would be to "just do it", if theres something you want to do grab that opportunity (metaphorically of course) and just go for it, you only live once so YOLO (sorry just couldn't quite help myself!) and I always think its better to look back and go "well I'm glad I did that" or "ohh well, that didn'''t work out did it" instaed of" if only I'd been brave enough to do it"; because "what ifs" play on your mind much longer than an "oh well"
At the moment I've had a lot going on. mostly to do with the crapload of coursework and revision I have been doing in aid of my GCSE's (if any of you have done GCSE's or our in Year 11 at the moment you will understand what complete hell it is) and in the little spare time I have had after sitting in front of a computer all day doing IT coursework and writing endless evaluations I haven't particularly felt like sitting down to write a blog post (more like collapsing on my bed!) no matter how much I love blogging!

However I do still want to blog so in 5 weeks when all my exams shall be over I will be able to put so much more into blogging. Hopefully I will also be able to make up for lost time as I will have 4 months of completely no school before all the madness starts again with A-level!!!

So if anyone happens to stumble across this blog (which is very unlikely!) please DON'T think this is a "dead" blog, it's just the start :) Apologies that this is quite a dull post but it had to be done!
So since I've started blogging now I thought I would write a cheeky little Review about it, so here goes...

Every Soap and Glory Product I come across I seem to instantly love and this product is no exception. The scrub contains fig powder, pumice, peppermint oil, lemonade tree liquid, orange waterjuice and vitamin balls (whatever they are haha). The tiny particles of pumice do a great job of getting rid of dry, rough or dead skin. I personally have pale and sensitive skin so an awful lot of body scrubs often leave my skin a bright blotchy red and feeling sore and irritable, However I have been used this product multiples and it has done neither which is great. After I have used this product I can instantly tell the difference in my skin after one use (I am guessing this is down to the exfoliation of the pumice or the vitamin balls). The only down side to this product is that I only use it in the shower as the tiny particles of pumice gather at the bottom of the bath and don't leave a great feeling for the remainder of your bath, this could be resolved by using this product last (which I didn't when I tried). This being said I still love this product and now just use it in the shower as I have other exfolents I can use in the bath.

The Fragrance of this product "Fruitigo Fragrance" lives up to the amazing scent of all the Soap and

Glory Products which is a massive part of why I love these products soo much. With Frozen yuzu, Orange oil, green fig and jungle pomelo essence it has a really fresh and "zingy" fragrance so I personally use in the morning as it perfect because of its bright scent and is super refreshing, it has a real "wake me up" feel to it. I would have to say that the dominant sent would have to be the jungle pomelo essence as their isn't a strong smell of orange oil which I love as I'm not a massive fan of orange scented wash or scrub products.

I would also say that because of it foamy soap like texture it could also act as a kind of wash as well (Personally I use both)

Like all Soap and Glory Products it is available at Boots with a £8.00 Price tag. For some people this may be relatively expensive for a body scrub (as it is for me) but a little goes a long way (especially as it foams up when added to water and worked into the skin)- two £2 coin sized pieces (3 at the max) should be all you need per go which I don't think is to bad!

I really advise that you give this product a go as it is amazing or at least pop into Boots and give it a sniff (like a weirdo ;) ) to experience the amazing smell which if your like me will probably tempt you to buy it haha

I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog for several months now but I just couldn't pluck up the courage to start one myself because of that small chance that someone I know in real life would happen to come across it and judge me (stupid I know). But this morning I had a YOLO moment (did I actually just use YOLO? ohh dear) and thought "Why do I care what someone else would think of it?" so I'm not caring and going to do it anyway!

I will be writing about all manner of girly things (clothes, makeup, fashion etc) but I'm also planning to write about life in general and my opinions.

So here we go, I'm jumping in right at the deep end (splash!) and I hope that some of you will join be in doing so.

Also as I am completely new to this I would grateful for any advice/tips you could give me and would love to check out your blogs or blogs that you love, you could let me now by commenting below.
